Chicken momos are a popular street food in India, but they originated in Tibet and Bhutan. This dish is very similar to Chinese noodles. It is also believed to have spread from China along the caravan routes that connected the deserts of Central Asia to the east and west.

How To Make Chicken Momos Recipe?

Momos are made from steamed chicken patties wrapped in wheat or whole wheat flour. I have used all flour/maida in this recipe but you can substitute wheat flour for a healthier option.

There are many kinds of mozo like shizwan momo, fried momo, vegetable momo, etc. But traditional wax is straight and steamed.

Then pour a small amount of water and knead the dough. After it forms a smooth round ball, knead for another 2 minutes.

Place the shredded chicken in a bowl (boil and shred the chicken, or you can use raw chicken and shred it).

Put water and steam on high heat. Place 6 bundles on the chair and moisten the top edge of each bundle with a wet finger. Spoon half of the mixture evenly into the center of each wrapper and fold in half. Make a few folds and twist the momo to sit upright.
