Cooking Recipes Healthy – The best healthy recipes can mean many different things to different people, so I want to share a bit of my philosophy here at Wholesome Yum. The dishes you will find here are made from whole foods, without added sugar or artificial ingredients. Additionally, I like to focus on super simple meals, so I try to use common grocery store ingredients and each recipe has 10 ingredients or less.

Many of these simple healthy recipes are naturally low-carb (my personal way of eating), but I realize that not everyone eats that way and that’s okay. Feel free to add starchy sides (potatoes, rice or whole grain) or fruit as you see fit! I think it’s important that we all need to eat more “real food” – and this applies whether you want healthy recipes for children or adults.
