The name first appeared in Japan last year. Like Final Fantasy Tactics, the game is turn-based combat in a grid like typical tactical games. The art style is also very similar, inspired by Akihiko Yoshida’s original work.
The story takes place in the kingdom of Leonis on the continent of Ardra. Cutscenes replay the conversation between battles. As the story unfolds, the country begins a brutal war with several neighboring countries.
The appearance war is not without its weaknesses, however. First, it’s only available on iOS and Android, which makes us wonder if Square Enix will give us a PC port of Tactics.
