Of The Best Crockpot Recipes
If you’re looking for super cheap crockpot meals, we’ve got plenty! Crockpot recipes that use hamburger tend to be a little cheaper. To really cut costs, choose meat with less fat, which will lower the price.
Since you have to cook the ground beef first, you can skim off the fat so it won’t be a problem. If you want it less fat, put it in a colander and spray the meat with hot water to wash off more fat.
Then, if you want a good old-fashioned meal, try our Slow Cooker Ribbed Steak or Beef Stew with Onion Soup Mix.
If you want to make a smaller batch of any of these, just cut them in half. I recommend using the smaller 4 qt. pot for less food.
