Weight Loss Meal Prep Ideas – It is a slimming diet designed for women – especially those who are trying to lose weight.

Each day is based on around 1,400 calories – but you can easily adjust your daily calories to suit your needs. At the end of this video, I’ll show you how you can change your meal plan to get anywhere from 1,200 calories to 1,600 calories a day or more – based on your specific caloric needs for weight loss.

Each meal will be around 400 calories and each snack will be around 200 calories – and I’ve specifically designed these meals and recipes to be lower in calories – but still satiate and energize a good stable. All of these recipes are balanced with good carbs, good proteins and healthy fats – because it’s important to eat all food groups for healthy weight loss.

All these recipes are very simple and I will go over each one (watch the video to cook with me). We will do 2 different dinner options, 2 lunch options and some variations and different breakfast and snack options.

But you can just make multiple servings of one or two recipes if you prefer.

I’ll also mention a plant-based alternative that you can use for any non-plant food (in the video) – just in case you’re plant-based. But many of these recipes are already plant-based.

Minute Chicken Sausage Pasta Meal Prep Bowls

*This is a slimming diet plan designed for women – especially those who want to lose weight. (Men or children will need to eat more to lose weight in a healthy way.)

To get started, you’ll need a few food storage containers. You will need 14 containers for all your lunches and dinners, if you eat at home you can use covered bowls or other plates. You will also need 4 small jars, or you can use cups or covered glasses. You’ll also need reusable zip-top bags or other small containers for extra food and items.

Since we want to prepare meals for 7 full days in just one hour, we need to start preparing and cooking the dishes that take the most time to cook. So we’re going to work this way and finally see how all the meals come together! Before starting, make sure the oven is preheated to 180°C/360F.

Sweet Potato Meal Prep

You can choose one of the overnight oatmeal or smoothies for each morning – the cool thing is that each morning we have a completely different recipe for breakfast. Your overnight oatmeal is good to take away – you can literally eat it with a spoon from a jar or serve it in a bowl. Whatever you like, and smoothies are ready and ready – just toss the prepared smoothie into the blender with 1/2 to 3/4 cup of water or as needed and you’re done (and you can eat the nuts raw on the side).

Then for lunch, you can choose an egg and brown rice salad or a quinoa and chickpea salad. Or a plant-based alternative (watch the video for more on plant-based alternatives).

As snacks, you have the choice of a different combination of fruit and nuts each day (or another 200 calorie snack of your choice).

And then for dinner, you have a chicken, quinoa and vegetable dinner or a salmon, baked potato and vegetable dinner (or a plant-based alternative, watch the video for details).

All the products I used should last for a week if stored in the fridge. Just make sure you eat them within 7 days. You can freeze dinners if you want and then reheat them, but dinners and overnight oatmeal won’t keep well in the fridge. Also, make sure you keep your smoothie preparation in the fridge.

Meals can be heated in a pan or otherwise, or eaten cold – whatever happens on the boat. I like to reheat my chicken dinner in the pan for a few minutes and then serve! And I love taking my overnight oatmeal, lunch, and snacks to work.

All meals are around 400 calories each – and if you’ve followed my instructions on plant-based options and serving alternatives (watch the video for details), each of your meals should be around 400 calories.

I hope you enjoy these dishes and recipes! These are foods I love to eat and recipes based on what I ate when I was trying to lose weight. If you don’t like a particular ingredient I used, you can use another similar ingredient you prefer that has about the same amount of calories.

You can make multiple servings of just one or two of these recipes if you prefer a faster meal prep time and don’t feel the need to have as many meal options throughout the week – it’s totally up to you!

Each of us is different, so each woman needs different calories to lose weight in a healthy way.

So if you want to follow the 1400 diet, you can eat all 3 meals and snacks every day that I showed you according to the plan (3 meals + 1 snack).

If you want to follow a 1,200-calorie diet, you can eat all 3 meals and just skip the 200-calorie fruit and nut snack.

Budget Friendly Healthy Meal Prep Ideas

And if you need to eat more to lose weight in a healthy way – say 1,600 calories or more. Then you can add another 200 calorie snack. Like another 200-calorie fruit and nut snack, or any other snack that has 200 calories – or more calories if you need it.

*The recommended serving of vegetables is about 70 calories for lunch. Since there are 7 lunch meals a week, I made about 490 calories of vegetables for the whole week.

Add sea salt, black pepper, Italian herb blend, fresh lemon juice and 2 tbsp pure tomato paste.

Toss with a spatula and you can add a little water to the pan while cooking if it gets too dry.
